Starting again isn’t easy — especially with a new baby. 🤍
Many families referred to PCCS arrive with nothing. Some are refugees.
Others are facing homelessness, financial crisis, or have no recourse to public funds.

Preparing for a baby can feel overwhelming — and sometimes impossible.
That’s where PCCS steps in. Through our Baby Bank and Counselling Service, we provide practical essentials alongside emotional support — helping families move from crisis to stability and begin again.

Referrers tell us many families are “starting from scratch” and would not be able to afford essential items without PCCS.
Check out our website to get involved by donating, volunteering, or fundraising.

Rain makes the world greener and our runners certainly proved that at the Kilomathon ! 🏃‍♂️💚

Our incredible team braved the wind and rain, tackling the 13k route from Ocean Terminal to Murrayfield.

Whether training for a marathon or hitting this distance for the first time, every hero crossed the finish line with a smile.

We truly thank all our runners as they raised awareness for the great work that the charity does. Thank you also to GSI Events for a brilliant day.

But here is why we run: Did you know that 27% of UK children are living in poverty right now? (from DWP) This isn’t just a statistic; it’s a crisis affecting families right here in Edinburgh.

We are committed to showing up where the need is greatest, with 80% of our Baby Packs reaching Edinburgh’s highest-priority postcodes.

With every £25 you raise provides vital counselling support for a family in crisis too.

So are you t-shirt ready to make a difference to people and families facing crisis? 🥰

Get in touch and join us at our next event, the Edinburgh Marathon Festival this May! 👟 DM us or sign up at https://www.edinburghmarathon.com/

and help us make a difference today.
