The Open Door Edinburgh is looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer.

📍 Location: Morningside, Edinburgh
🕒 Commitment: Part-time, Volunteer (2 hours every 6 weeks)
💙 Cause: Supporting older people and those with mental health challenges through community, creativity, and care.

As Treasurer, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing our financial health and helping shape the future of our charity. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in your community while using your financial skills for good.

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

- Experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
- A commitment to our mission and values
- Willingness to attend 6-weekly board meetings and provide financial oversight

🔹 What You’ll Gain:

- A meaningful volunteer role with real impact
- Experience in charity governance
- A warm, welcoming team of fellow trustees and staff

Surprise raffle prize incoming!

We just had the lovely Anna from drop by with an amazing last-minute addition to our raffle, a Ninja Airfryer Pro! 🍟✨

We’re so grateful for this generous donation and excited to add it to our prize list, just in time for the final stretch of our fundraiser.

🎟 Raffle tickets are still available: £2 for one or £10 for a strip
⏰ The draw will take place later this week, so there’s still time to enter! Just stop by our home in Morningside to pick up a ticket.

All proceeds go to supporting our day service at The Open Door 💙

🎉 We did it and more! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we not only hit our £20,000 goal, but went over it. We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude.

A massive thank you to everyone who contributed, from individuals who donated and volunteers, to the amazing local companies who donated raffle prizes. You have made a real difference.
