We are fast approaching the summer months. Hooray . For many reasons this has been a long time in coming but for your business it's the start of, hopefully, a really busy trading period.

Every person has their own hair growth patterns and everyone’s bodies are constantly changing. Some people will lose body hair over time, and some will grow more hair in new places as they age. Lasers can destroy hair follicles, but they’re not magical: they won’t create new ones, and they won’t prevent new hair follicles from growing over time.

It’s an interesting conversation, that of the cost of non-permanent hair removal like shaving and waxing versus permanent light treatments of Laser, IPL and Super Hair Removal (SHR).

A research study by hair removal giants Centros Unicos says the average woman still spends £23,000 to wax away unwanted hair over the course of her lifetime and if you’re shaving then that’ll set you back just a mere £6500 and eight weeks of your life!!!! Then of course there’s the issue of pain and injury……yep we’ve all experienced that.

So moving on to a more precise, painless and mostly permanent procedure sounds expensive right?

Light Aesthetics SHR stats show an average price of £2700 for 12 treatments for full leg, bikini and underarm. Now that blows the whole argument out of the water!! Yes it’s dependent on the area that you’re living in because prices vary and which system you’re thinking about using but the advice is go SHR because it’s generally cheaper, pain free and incredibly popular because it just works!
