Supporting Your Gut Health – a morning of movement and connection ⭐️

We began with a mindful yoga flow before hearing from Aisling Geary, Registered Dietitian, who shared her knowledge on how to support gut health through food, movement and lifestyle.

Afterwards, we enjoyed time together over delicious buns, chatting with others from the community, before heading home with goodie bags from and . 💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this calm and nourishing morning at the studio!

The practice? Flip the script. Give more than you take.Offer more attention, more time, and more kindness.

True Asteya is a radical practice of generosity. It’s realising we steal in subtle ways every day.

This is the heart of Seva (selfless service)—giving without any expectation of return, simply to bring joy.

When we anchor ourselves in generosity, true prosperity flows. How can you practice Asteya today?

Why commit to a full 12 weeks of yoga?

It provides the right amount of time to see tangible progress in your flexibility, focus, and overall well-being.

Neuroscience supports this timeframe:

The brain needs consistent reinforcement to rewire patterns.

Repeated action over 12 weeks strengthens this identity loop:

Cue → Routine → Reward → Identity reinforcement

Studies show it takes 66 days on average to form a solid habit.

12 weeks = ~84 days, giving ample time to reinforce, repeat, and internalise the behaviour.

After ~8–12 weeks of regular practice, neural pathways (especially around movement, mindfulness, and regulation) become more stable.

A 12-week yoga block is not only realistic — it’s ideal for moving from external motivation to internal identity. With consistency, you’re not just doing yoga — you’re becoming a person who lives it.

Ready to transform your next 12 weeks? Our next block starts the week of the 29th of September. Get booking!

✨My Superpower is My Sobriety✨

September is Recovery Awareness Month, I’m choosing to share my story to help remove the stigma. In a few weeks, I celebrate 24 years of sobriety.

I am a big believer in the 12-step model. It is the foundation of my sobriety and a daily practice that, after over two decades, is just part of how I think. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. I continue to practice the steps, continue to be humbled, and continue to learn more about myself. I make mistakes and have learned how to amend them. At 53 I am still learning and growing.

My recovery toolkit also includes yoga and meditation (beautifully aligning with Step 11), but they are supporting players to my core foundation. This journey has given me my greatest superpower: stability and the ability to be of service, and live a full life. I weave these tools into my teaching as a gift to my students.

If you are struggling, please hear me: A new way of life is there waiting for you. It is possible to live fully and happily. Please seek help. You won’t regret it.

Your Vinyasa flow’s best kept secret? It’s called Ashtanga.

Ever heard that Ashtanga yoga is “so hard”?
🥵

What if we told you that you’re already doing it?
That’s right! Your Vinyasa flow is born from the Ashtanga tradition. It’s all about linking breath to movement (that’s your Vinyasa!).

Think of it less as a new style and more of unlocking the core essentials you already practice!
I teach Ashtanga with a mindful, modern approach—it’s disciplined but never rigid. It’s the perfect next step to deepen your Vinyasa foundation.

Your personal practice is about to level up. You’ve got the flow, now let’s add the foundation.

Ready to learn what your practice has been missing? Book your spot for the Autumn Term now! Link in bio.
