New Patients
Whether a new patient to us or a regular, you will always be welcomed here at our practice. We take great pride in the quality of treatments provided and offer a full range of general dentistry both within the NHS and Privately. Treatments will be tailored to your individual requirements and preferences. We place a high value on Preventative treatment and encourage children to come and see us as early as possible. We are a "Child Smile" Practice. To register at the Practice make an appointment for a free examination. Once this has been completed you may be registered. Patients registered at this Practice are entitled to 2 free dental examinations each year and to access out of hours emergency treatment.
Appointments
An appointment system is in operation, letting patients be attended to as quickly and efficiently as possible. However, absolute Emergencies shall take precedence. We try our best to ensure that each patient is seen by one Dentist on a continuing basis. On some occasions that may not be possible and another Dentist within the practice will take care of your needs.
Please contact us as soon as possible should you be unable to keep an appointment. Late cancellations and broken appointments may be subject to a charge.
Should you require an emergency appointment please try and contact us during surgery hours. If you contact us before 10am it may be possible for you to be seen the same day.

NHS 24 on 111.
A triage system is in operation and emergency cases will be seen by a dentist from out with the practice.
NHS Lothian provides interpretation & translation service, please discuss with reception.
NHS Treatment
Free & partial help NHS treatment is available for patients who are: Under 18yrs of age. Aged 18 and in full-time education. Expecting a baby or have a baby under 1yr. Receiving income support. Receiving or partner of someone in receipt of Tax Credit. Universal Credit. Guarantee Pension Credit In possession of a current HC1, HC2, HC3 Certificate eg Students or pensioners on low income. In possesion of a Job Seekers Allowance. Documentary evidence must be provided. Patients exempt from NHS Charges are still liable for broken appointments/late cancellation charges.
PRIVATE TREATMENT
We would be pleased to explain the options of Private Dental Treatment to you at any time. It may be that your ideal course of treatment is not available through the NHS. We can provide metal-free fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and cosmetic veneers made from a wide range of materials.Tooth whitening is also available. Should we be unable to provide the treatment you require, you will be referred for Specialist Treatment. We will be happy to discuss this and a choice of Specialists with you.
