✨ CSSC Savings is transforming ✨

In the coming weeks, we are making some changes to CSSC savings, to improve your experience of the app and website.

Improved mobile app:
The CSSC savings app is being totally refreshed to give you a better experience so you'll find it’s even easier for you to save on the go.

Improved website:
The CSSC savings website will replicate the mobile app and feature a wallet containing your reloadable gift cards and digital vouchers for easy access and management.

There are more exciting updates coming soon too, including the name of CSSC savings changing. We'll share more information about this very soon.

CSSC savings will be unavailable from 9am-3pm on 19 March

To complete these updates, the CSSC savings portal will be unavailable from 9am for 6 hours. After which time you will be able to access the new site and app, as usual.

What do you need to do?
If you already have the app on your device, it should update automatically. If you don’t have automatic app updates enabled, you’ll need to go into the app store on your device to prompt the update.

Please note, any saved payment cards will be unavailable after the update and need adding again. All other information, including your cashback, account information, gift cards and vouchers will be available on the website and app.

Spend your cashback:
After the update, you’ll be able to spend your cashback balance on digital vouchers and gift cards available on CSSC savings.

You’ll still be able to transfer cashback to existing reloadable gift cards or a bank account, once you have a minimum balance of £10.

The Benefits of volunteering with CSSC webinar
On Thursday 1st June between 12:30 - 13:00 we are holding a webinar to go through the benefits of volunteering for CSSC and the different opportunities we have available to our members!
During this session, we will explore the endless potential of volunteering, uncover the benefits it brings to individuals and society, and discover the various ways in which you can contribute your time, skills, and expertise to make a difference.
You will also hear from one of our Volunteer Team Leaders and one of our incredible volunteers to answer some questions and let us know what its like to be a volunteer for CSSC.

Do you want to try dinghy sailing?
Then come along to the Edinburgh Civil Service Sailing Club taster day on 14th May! One of our members will show you the ropes and take you out for a wee sail on the Forth.
Where: Port Edgar Sea Cadets, South Queensferry
When: come along between 11 and 12am
Bring: some shoes that can go in the water, a hat if it’s cold, sunscreen for your face and something to drink if you’re staying for the barbecue. All the kit will be provided but if you want to bring your own wetsuit that’s great.
Cost: this taster session is free (https://www.cssc.co.uk/.../community-lottery-funding-the...)! (After that if you would like to join the club, we sail on Thursday evenings and it’s £5 a time.)
