Congratulations to our knitting club ladies on completing your place mats.
Each resident said they couldn't knit anymore, but with gentle persuasion and our kind volunteer Helen we proved to them that they could still knit... and here is the evidence.

💫 Another wish granted
It's not all about the big wishes. The residents often talk about how they would love an authentic fish supper!
So of course we had to oblige.
Residents washed down their fish supper with a glass of wine or a lager.

🌟 A Wish Granted 🌟
A big thank you to Karele Equine for making sister Margarets dreams come true.
Sister Margaret loved her morning grooming Darraugh and getting to meet all the other wonderful horses.
This is part one of her wish.
Sister Margaret will be getting to ride Darraugh and help raise money for this worthwhile charity. Karele Equine enables children and adults with disabilities to horse ride and spend time with these beautiful animals.

🕑 Friday 12th September | 2:00pm – 3:30pm

Are you looking to feel more confident using your smartphone or tablet?

Join us for a free, friendly workshop designed to help older people get to grips with modern technology.

Volunteers from https://tapintoit.org.uk/ will be on hand to offer one-to-one support with your own device – whether you’re a complete beginner or just want to improve your tech skills.

✅ Learn the basics of using your smartphone
✅ Ask questions in a relaxed, supportive environment
✅ Bring your own device and get hands-on help
✅ Enjoy some light refreshments!

What a Wonderful Wednesday!
Residents started the day with Music Therapy with Vanessa from Forth Music Therapy and finished with a good old fashioned sing Along with Neil Robertson. They certainly earned their cuppa and cake.

Thank you Seagull Trust Cruises - Ratho for another great day. We were grateful that the rain stayed away and we could enjoy sitting outside. We were so lucky to get a visit from a family of swans.
