i return to this over and over. when i feel like i’m giving work everything but not feeling fulfilled in return. i return to this before taking on new projects. will it be worth my time and energy? i return to this when i’m burned out. depressed. lonely. and most often what i find is that i’ve fallen for that old trick again. the one where i start believing that joy can be found anywhere other than within. the one where i start believing the lie that more productivity = better business. that better business = more happiness and satisfaction. that more work now means less work later.

if one poem could embody all of ‘home body’- this would be it.

7am full led primary series and chanting practice complete 🙌 fire stoked for the day 🔥

It’s not always easy, it’s not always fun, but neither is life and my practice teaches me so much about how to live.

- It always informs where I’m at
- it always encourages me to find kindness and compassion
- It always reminds me who I am
- It always provides a moment of shelter

Whether you have 2 hours or 10 minutes carve out time to say hi to yourself acknowledge who you are and where you’re at, create your own emotional shelter. ❤️

Welcome to our wee studio right in the heart of Penicuik Town Centre. We believe small is powerful and have created a Space of Calm for you to enjoy our Yoga Classes, Events and Workshops.

Our aim is to create a Yoga Community accessible to all, and we offer beginners courses, yoga basics, flow, yin, restorative and power as well as over 60’s chair yoga and yoga for healthy pregnancy.
