Exploring Beyond Symptoms 💡
Pain is complex, and symptoms can sometimes be just the tip of the iceberg. How do different parts of the body influence movement and function across the body?
During the first module of the Spine Osteopathic Diagnosis and Treatment course 🇵🇱, I had the chance to explore how skeletal, muscular, connective tissue (fascia), nervous, and circulatory systems interact, considering the body as an interconnected system. Thank you to Leszek Zając, a skilled physiotherapist and osteopath, for introducing me to the concept of osteopathy - it was a fantastic opportunity to deepen my understanding and support more thoughtful, evidence-informed rehabilitation strategies.
I really enjoyed learning alongside old friends and fellow clinicians from university Sebastian Panczyk, exchanging practical insights and perspectives during the course.
Continuous learning is essential in healthcare, and each step helps me grow as a clinician and provide better care.
Have you noticed how tension in one part of the body can affect movement elsewhere?
