We’ve recently been gifted 200+ books from the library of Judith Brearley, a retired Edinburgh-based psychotherapist. We’re honoured to carry this collection forward and are busy cataloguing the titles to create a small library for our therapists and clients.

Alongside this, we currently have:

🎉 ECPT Turns 1! 🎉

Yesterday marked one year since ECPT opened its doors. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed incredible therapists in training, supported clients through hundreds of therapy sessions, and began building a growing community passionate about psychodynamic and existential approaches.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us – our trainees, therapists, clients, and wider community. Your trust and commitment make this work possible. 💚

Here’s to many more years of growth, learning, and supporting mental health in Edinburgh!

Our therapists work within an existential psychodynamic model, offering a space to explore patterns, relationships, and the deeper questions of life in a supportive and reflective setting.

Now that we're fully moved into our new space, we’re delighted to offer beautifully designed therapy rooms in our new Causewayside premises. Our spaces are modern, colourful, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with meticulous attention to detail — creating a warm and welcoming environment for both clients and therapists.

Alongside your room, you’ll have access to a kitchen, additional meeting and training room, and a bathroom. We also host regular social events for our trainees and associate therapists, and can feature your profile on our website if you’d like to boost your visibility.

We offer block bookings only:
1 x Weekly 4 hour AM / PM block - £125 (£7.50 per hour)
1 x Weekly 8 hour block - £233 (£7 per hour)
