It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of Gary on Sunday, 13th July, at the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Glasgow.
Beloved husband of Sheana, much loved dad to Aimee, Hazel, Rachael, Yvonne and the late Marc and Debbie, proud papa G to Jakke, Mackenzie, Fletcher and Leo. Gary was also a wonderful brother, uncle, father-in-law, and a good friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held on Thursday, 24th July, at 12 noon at Hope Church, 49 Bridge Street, Musselburgh, followed by a committal at Inveresk Cemetery at 1pm. The family kindly invites those attending to wear a splash of maroon or Hearts attire, if they wish.

Family flowers only, please. A retiral collection in memory of Gary will be taken, with proceeds going to the Edinburgh Sick Kids.

It is with deep sadness the family announce that Alex passed away suddenly but peacefully on Saturday 28th June 2025 at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The most beloved husband of Elaine, dearly loved dad of Callum & Lauren, precious younger brother of Ena and adored uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A service will be held on Thursday 17th July at Seafield Crematorium at 2pm to which all are welcome. The cortege will take Alex via The Musselburgh Golf Club (Monktonhall) on the way to Seafield for one final stop at his favourite Golf Club at approximately 1.20pm.

Bright colours encouraged and maroon welcome!

A livestream will be available for those unable to attend in person. Please contact any member of the family for login details.

Donations will be greatly received as you leave the crematorium and will be passed on to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis in memory of Alex. For anyone not attending who would like to donate you can do so via the link below-
