Andrew Stewart Fitness I am a personal trainer and nutritionist. I offer premium personal training services and nutrition advice based around you and your goals.

I am a Personal Trainer & Nutritionist based in PureGym Edinburgh - Exchange Crescent. A Level 3 certified Personal Trainer, also holding certifications in Gym Based Boxing, Studio Cycling & Circuit Training with a supplementary qualification as Level 1 SFA Football Coach. As a Personal Trainer I aim to provide high quality training and support sessions based entirely around your personal goals and ambitions in relation to your fitness aspirations. Helping you achieve these goals will become my passion as well as yours. Working as a team, I commit to developing individuals through building confidence within the gym environment, teaching new techniques and providing support and motivation throughout your fitness journey. This will get you results fast! Provided your plan is right.

This is what I’m currently doing for fat loss.
I’m busy with work & kids.
My brain doesn’t work, blaming baby brain.
Time is limited.
& I would rather be doing other things!

I’m not even craving “junk food”.
Hunger isn’t bad either, considering you will always be hungry when dieting for fat loss.

It’s simple & effective.
It gives you structure.

It’s a win. Even in the short term to get started.

People will argue it’s boring.
I’m restricting my food for a limited amount of time to lose fat so I look & feel better. Of course it is.
But I will get it done in 12 weeks then go back to a more flexible, enjoyable approach.

Slowly but surely. 2kg down but still been able to enjoy social events with friends and family.

Yes it may slow progress a bit.
But it’s your choice to make.
It’s just not an all or nothing choice. Be smarter than that.

Things need simplified down. Which you need knowledge to be able to do effectively.

Lucky for you I’m not an idiot PT with no responsibilities.

Road to 300kg! Week 9

First time training legs in 3 weeks 😅
There are reasons but they are irrelevant.

Dropped weight back down to 230kg & that was more than hard enough.
I couldn’t connect as well as I wanted with 240kg and question if I was reaching max extension.

So we take a step back to progress more in the long run.

Also added some belt squats for the first time 👀
Not bad but will play about with the set up.

Nothing else in the calendar so a free run at training without interruption… unless we book something 😅

🤷🏻‍♂️ got to love fat loss.
People would’ve put off by this but it’s only been 6 days.

This is where scale weight doesn’t tell the full story.

Meal timings
Carb intake
Weight of food consumed
Bowel movements
& more

All impact the number on the scale.
Plus I “lose weight” weird.
A lot of similar weigh ins that look like there’s no progress then a “random” big drop in weight.

If you’re exercising correctly, eating enough protein, etc you can be confident it’s fat loss.
We don’t want muscle loss at all!

Great 5 days away.

One of those ones where you don’t realise how much you needed a holiday until you are actually away and feel like a new human!

Was straight back to reality on Tuesday coaching & training.
Updating in person & online client programmes.
