On Tuesday 28th of October between 10am-12pm, we are hosting a coffee morning at our office (Niddrie Funeralcare) to raise money for Penumbra Mental Health.

There will be tea/coffee/hot chocolate and sweet treats all available for a small donation. There will also be a raffle being drawn on the day with prizes that include - a 12 year old bottle of Glenkinchie Whiskey, a tour of Ibrox for 4, family ticket for Edinburgh Zoo, cut and blow dry at Charlie Miller and many more!

On Wednesday, we went along to Richmond Craigmillar Church to drop off packs that included Tea or Coffee and cups for 2. These will either be handed out at the Wednesday Cafe or Fairshare Thursday. With it being Wednesday Evening we got to see the set up for Fairshare Thursday. It runs in the church between 10am - 11am. For £4 you get 15 items and everything looked really fresh! They also have the 'Nearly New' stalls offering affordable items too.

Meet Dawn...
Dawn is our Funeral Arranger based in the Niddrie office. She works alongside Clair and helps look after families when it comes to arranging a funeral for their loved one.
Dawn is a Mum of Two. She grew in Dumfries and Galloway before moving to Edinburgh to pursue a career in Health & Social Care.

What is your 1 funeral wish?
Direct Cremation!! I want my family to remember me in ways we loved. Go out and do the things we liked to do together and please go for the champagne that day and not the prosecco.

What is 1 thing we offer that you love?
The complete choice and the ability to have it exactly as you want. It’s nice that we can give families that element of control to have the send off they would like.
