Connections Counselling is now fully open for counsellors and clients alike. We have two counsellor rooms in the Out of the Blue Drill Hall with a cosy waiting room. Situated at the back
of the main exhibition hall on the ground floor, Connections has been set up with counsellors and clients in mind, creating a space where both can come together to explore a healing and growth based relationship.

Our rooms are available to hire to work from, both in person and online. We are open from 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week. If you are interested in being a part of Connections, either as an independent counsellor or as a Connections one, please come along on our open night to see the space and find out if this would be a good fit for you as a place to be a part of.

The main door will be open from 6pm-7pm, afterwards access will be by the intercom at number 36, by buzzing the cafe. We are situated at the back of the main exhibition hall on the ground floor. Refreshments provided, while they last!

Connections tiered fee structure

Free Sessions - Tier 1
For individuals on less that £10,000 per year, such as those receiving Universal Credit or Jobseeker's Allowance. These sessions are funded through donations and grants and therefore might be subject to a waiting system. We offer up to 15 sessions in Tier 1 with a check in every 5. As Tier 1 is a funded program, we would look to end at (or around) sessions 15. However, under considered circumstances there might be scope to continue beyond the designated 15 sessions.

Pay What You Can - Tier 2
For individuals on £10,000 - £20,000 per year. Clients can pay any variable amount between £5 and £30. We recommend (but are not restricted to) 10-15 sessions and will have a check-in every 5.

£40 per session - Tier 3
Individuals earning between the Scottish Living Wage (£11.44 per hour) and the average Scottish wage up to £30,000 per year. We recommend (but are not restricted to) 10-15 sessions and will have a check-in every 5.

£50 per session - Tier 4
All individuals earning over £30,000 per year. We recommend (but are not restricted to) 10-15 sessions and will have a check-in every 5.

*Tier 4 and 5 are introductory rates and are subject to change by +£5 in February 2025
