When life gets busy we can so easily miss the great bits.
Today might have just been a random rainy Wednesday, but it marked something pretty special.
My sister and I went for a walk with our baby sons who were born 4 months apart, for the first time.
We stayed local and walked slowly (and my wildy cried through most of it 😆) but it was one of those moments i'll cherish. It sounds so cliche but I honestly wished one day Bec and I would have babies together and here we are!
So proud of for taking the crazy world of motherhood in her stride. And little Archie George you are a dream ❤️

15 weeks postpartum and my body is still feeling pretty broken and achey. Almost like a feeling of disconnection, as if i'm moving around in someone else's body and I'm observing from afar. Something that's going to take time to heal, a tonne of patience and strength to rebuild.

This 5 minute warm up before teaching tonight was a must 🙏

Take the opportunity, however brief and chaotic it might be 🙏
The tv was on and the baby will only tolerate the bouncy chair for a short time. The house is messy and noisy. But this morning I HAD to move.

A long car journey ahead with kids (our first time, pray for me 🥴) and feeling as flexible as a plank of wood, this was a non-negotiable.

What I keep trying to remind myself of is that 5 minutes is better than nothing. And maybe next time i'll get 15 minutes 🤞

The waiting game is on!
A time that some call ‘Zwischen’, the land of ‘in-between’.
It offers an opportunity to be fully present in this half-way house between pregnancy and motherhood. But i'm mainly using this precious time to soak up as much of my little boy as I possibly can. The last few days as a Mama of one ❤️
