Moving through January, I've been reminded how much my yoga and mindfulness practice gives me far beyond the mat. There will always be moments that challenge us, create doubt in our minds and shake our sense of certainty, yet every time I return to a pose, to my breath, towards stillness, I feel something quietly rebuilding - a sense of steadiness, trust and patience.

As we move through 2026, I'm feeling more and more that it's these small, consistent moments that become the foundations we walk through life with.
Not perfect. Not rigid. Just steady, supportive, and there when we need them.

Strong foundations aren't built in a day - they are both built and tested in moments like these.

This is the spirit behind Find Your Foundations and Build Your Brilliance this year - both created through my own experience of cultivating strength, awareness and steadiness through yoga, mindfulness and breathwork. They're here not only to help us build our foundations, but to return to them with ease whenever life asks us to.

There’s something deeply soothing about lighting a candle – it is a ritual that invites us to slow down, soften, and arrive in the moment. The gentle flame, the beautiful scent, and the intention behind it all helps to shift the nervous system into a state of rest. When we light a candle with pure essential oils, it becomes more than fragrance, it becomes a practice of self-care.

All of my candles are handmade in North Yorkshire with ethically sourced soy wax, blended only with pure essential oils. Each one contains a tiny crystal bead chosen to support the intention of the blend.

Whether you are exploring the beauty of Scotland, soaking up the view of the mountains in Morocco, dancing with fireflies in Italy or soaking up the sun by a blissful pool in France I have got you covered 💚

One of my values and intentions with my retreats, in the uk or abroad, is connection with nature ~ I find that this, along with deeply restful yoga classes, morning meditation, delicious food and great company create the most brilliant effect on the mind, body and soul.

Contemplation. Quiet time. Journalling. Walking. Resting. Meditation. Mindfulness. Many ways to connect back to the Self 🧡

I love the sound of pen to paper. The gentle sound of bird song. The swish of trees in the breeze. Sunlight. Stillness.

It’s finding these then learning how we can come back to our Self even in the loudest, darkest times - when the birdsong and light may not be there.

Ultimately it’s the focus on the breath. Our most constant companion. The brilliance of our yoga asana practice helps us find this breath!

As the days start to shift and the clocks change, I'm feeling grateful for all the light we can still find in our mornings, our evenings, and on the mat together.
