Alzheimer Scotland SafeConnect Fobs

SafeConnect fobs are small yellow keyrings that hold secure emergency contact details for people living with dementia. If someone becomes confused or distressed in the community, their fob can be scanned with a smartphone (NFC) to quickly connect them with family or carers.

We have two live-in care professionals for our Mum and stepfather, who stay with them for a fortnight each during the month. It's taken a bit of time to get into a rhythm with the two ladies but now we have a good system going and they are both very attentive and caring with them. This level of support
