Quadriceps is a group of 4 muscles on the front of your thighs - they straighten your knee to allow you to walk, run & jump. 3 of them are the vastus medialis, intermedialis and lateralis. On top of them is the re**us femoris which also flexes your hip. Combined they are the most voluminous in the body especially in body builders who love to pump them up!
