We hope everyone had a lovely and safe Christmas🎄. As usual the run up to the festivities was a very busy time for us, it's the time of year where you need a calendar on your phone, to actually know which day of the week it is 🤣 Thankfully this year we had an extra pair of hands helping out around the yard & events. Our fleet manager is going to be gutted that his new protege has returned home 🤶🏼 🤣

Thinking about your 2026 New Year Resolution or what to ask Santa for this year? How about becoming a First Responder in Emergency Care Level 3? Done it before and time for your requalification - we've got that covered too!

**Limited places currently available on our 2026 FREC3 courses**

FREC3 (split course) 23-25 Jan & 31 Jan - 01 Feb 2026
FREC3 23-27 March 2026
FREC3 4-8 May 2026

FREC3 requalification 20-22 Feb 2026
FREC3 requalification 26-28 June 2026

The skills you will learn over your 5 day course will include:
Basic Life Support with Automated External Defibrillator (Adult, Child + Infant)
Life threatening bleed recognition & management
Medical emergency recognition & management eg asthma, heart attack, anaphylaxis
Trauma management
and so much more!

This is a 3 year certificate and opens many doors in the pre hospital care environment

Our courses are delivered by highly experienced HCPC registered Paramedics who ensure an interactive, supportive and positive learning experience in our fully equipped training centre next to Edinburgh Airport

The last few weeks have been extremely tough and emotional for us at ABC Paramedic Services, after the sudden loss of an ambulance colleague. However it has shown how amazing our team are, pulling together and keeping the home fires burning, turning up at events with a smile and professionalism, and always giving our clients the best service possible. We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who stepped up and in, especially as things corresponded with Remembrance Day, a time when people reflect on their own personal losses. Thank you all ❤️💚
