Ayurveda suggests the way you choose to drink water affects your health. Interesting, isn't it? It helps with digestion, cools and balances Pitta dosha, supports Kapha and counteracts the dryness of Vata.
How much water you should drink depends on your age, your body type, your diet, how much physical work or exercise you do, the weather, your stress levels and your herbal food supplements.
➡️Here are some handy yet important Ayurvedic tips for everyone about drinking water:
1. Drink room temperature water.
2. Drink water first thing in the morning.
3. Avoid drinking water 30 minutes before meals and 45 minutes after meals (a few sips of water is ok if you’re very thirsty 😊).
