Getting a massage at work can have several benefits, both physically and mentally. Here’s why it’s good for you:

Physical Benefits
1. Reduces Muscle Tension – Sitting at a desk or doing repetitive tasks can cause stiffness and pain. Massage helps relieve tension in the neck, shoulders, and back.
2. Improves Circulation – Massage stimulates blood flow, which can reduce fatigue and improve oxygen supply to muscles.
3. Decreases Headaches – Many workplace headaches are caused by tension in the neck and shoulders. Massage can help relieve this tension.

Mental Benefits
4. Reduces Stress & Anxiety – Massage lowers cortisol (the stress hormone) and increases serotonin and dopamine, which help improve mood.
5. Boosts Focus & Productivity – By reducing stress and tension, massage can help you concentrate better and stay more engaged in your work.
6. Enhances Overall Well-Being – Regular massage can contribute to better sleep, reduced irritability, and a more positive attitude at work.

Workplace Benefits
7. Prevents Burnout – Taking time to relax and recharge can prevent mental and physical exhaustion.
8. Encourages Good Posture – Massage can help alleviate pain caused by poor posture and encourage better sitting habits.
9. Boosts Morale & Job Satisfaction – Employees who feel cared for are generally happier and more motivated.

If your workplace offers massages, it’s definitely worth taking advantage of! Do you get massages at work, or are you thinking of suggesting it to your employer?

Looking for a treat for staff or a wellbeing day?
Look no further!

On-site or seated chair massage is the perfect way to give staff a great experience and reward for their hard work through the year.

Onsite massage can really target sore muscles in the back, neck and shoulders, this is traditionally where desk based workers feel the tension.

The massage is typically 15 minutes long and done over clothes.
