Cairdean House Care Home Our dedicated team provides high-quality residential, dementia, nursing and short-term respite care

Cairdean House is a modern, purpose-built care home in the beautiful village of Colinton, Edinburgh. The dedicated team offer specialist nursing, residential and dementia care within a home that has been designed with the needs of people living with dementia in mind. Cairdean House has a homely feel, with lots of spaces where residents can relax and socialise, such as the coffee shop, cinema room and hair salon. There are various safe outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy, including a first-floor courtyard and large terraces, plus beautiful landscaped gardens that border woodland. Residents are encouraged to play an active part in the home, from engaging in the daily goings-on to taking part in activities that they have always loved.

Thank you to all for supporting our wonderful Christmas Fair! What a turnout and a fabulous, festive day for all! The Highland dancers, entertainer, stall's, tombola, raffle along with of course Santa and his reindeers!

Intergenerational activities are just priceless........the joy that comes to our residents when our local Colinton Primary School visit is just amazing. Jennie was also back on shift with activities which also brought a lot of joy to the residents faces!
