The hardest part of embodiment for most people is not the movement.
Itâs not the breath.
Itâs not the mantra.
Itâs the moment where everything goes quiet.
The stillness.
Because when there is no distraction, no phone, no conversation, no list of things to do, we are left with ourselves.
And for a lot of people, that can feel uncomfortable.
Not because anything is wrong.
But because many of us have spent years staying busy, overthinking, looking after everyone else, pushing through, numbing out, or filling every quiet moment with noise.
Stillness gives us the chance to notice what has been underneath it all.
The thoughts we avoid.
The emotions we have not had time to process.
The tension our body has been holding.
The truth of how tired, disconnected, overwhelmed or lost we might actually feel.
That is why stillness can feel hard.
But it is also where the shift begins.
Because when you stop running from yourself, you finally get the chance to hear what you need.
And that is where embodiment becomes powerful.
