Hey everyone, don't forget our Toys For Adjustments day and carol singing is this Wednesday 10th December.

Our Carol Singing starts at 10 am so please come by and have some merry fun with us. We have mince pies, teas, coffee and mulled wine.

If you would like to donate a gift to the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal, you can donate a NEW gift by end of day on Wednesday ready for them to pick them up on Thursday morning. We will be wrapping all the gifts on Wednesday so if you want to come down amd see what we do or join in the fun we can't wait to see you all.

This will be our 18th Year supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal. It is something very close to our hearts.

Butternut Box Inspired this post as to why in our practice love and kindness is so important in our customer service and why we go that extra mile in caring for our guests.

As many of you know last week we said goodbye to our baby boy Rumples. We were devastated as you can imagine. With this loss came the hard times of sorting out the stuff in relation to Rumples. From sorting the pet insurance to cancelling the food subscription. So here comes the important bit of this story. A few months ago we subscribed to Butternut Box to try to get Rumples to eat. He fell in love with it and we never looked back. On Thursday last week we needed to cancel it. Might sound silly but this was actually quite hard emotionally. However what came from this cancellation was an even bigger love and respect for this amazing company. The words that came up on the website were be beautiful. They were sorry for our loss and realise that these times are so hard and they have team members on hand if we needed to talk or share memories to help more through this. This little statement made us cry. Just a little note but so caring and impactful. A day later we had delivery of flowers. It was from Butternut Box . It came with a card expressing how sorry they were. We had only used them for a few months and never would have expected a company like this that has many other customers to go that extra mile. They must be so busy with their everyday jobs caring for so many animals. This again was so impactful, so kind and made us cry.

What it also did was reinforce for us why we do what we do. Reminding us of the impact a small gesture does for someone. We have always tried to go that extra mile, to show that love, kindness and compassion. So thank you Butternut Box for making a hard time a little lighter. Thank you for reminding us why we do these similar things for our guest.

So a little note to end. Rembember what small gestures of kindness can actually do for someone. It may not seem like much to you but the ripple effect could be huge. Be kind, be a good human, come from a place of love. We love you all and love the community we are a part of. We couldn't recommend Butternut Box highly enough. No words could express how fantastic they are. Have an amazing magical day!!

With a new year approaching the team have decided to start spring cleaning early. Also having a bit of fun dressing up as we sorted through some stuff. Cleaning up and clearing out, creating space for the exciting new opportunities that await us in 2026. Decluttering is good for the soul which means it's good for your health. Do You have a room or office that feels full of stuff. Let's inspire each other and get stuff done!!

Hey to all our Edwinstowe family.

These posts do not get easier to write each time we have to do this. We are utterly heartbroken to have to say this, our beautiful boy rumples decided this morning it was time to sleep and go be with Criss, Bella, Donkey and JD. We are devastated.

As some of you may know already yesterday was a hard day for rumples as he fell in to a day of mini cluster seizures and unfortunately didn't come out of them long enough to reset and recover. It was the right thing to do but it was and is so very painful.

As you all know our dogs have always been a massive part of all our lives within the practice. The entertainment the laughs the tears and the healing. We know so many of you watched Rumples grow up alongside our beautiful boy donkey. He was as much one of your dogs just like he was ours. We know this will be hard on some of you and we send you our love as we navigate this aswell. The practice will feel so very empty without a dog sat on the sofa judging those who chose not to bring him treats. Please hold space for us as we grieve for our boy and grieve the loss of our last dog. To lose all four dogs in 3 and half years has been extremely tough.

We can all be happy in the thought he is now relaxing on a sofa in the sun up high watching the chaos and mayhem hes probably started between bella and donkey and he will be greeting JD with both a look of distain and love.

Sleep well our baby potato, our land seal, our Marshmallow, our lazy hippo. You were so loved and you will be so very missed.

If you would like to donate a NEW gift for the Salvation Army, we would love and appreciate your help. Bring the new gift in by or on the 10th December and we will wrap them up all ready to be collected by the Newark Branch. Please help us bring a little joy to families and the community this Christmas.
