Christmas is in full swing across our villages. Light switch-ons are complete, Christmas fairs are well underway, and our final fair takes place tomorrow at Sunningdale Park from 11am to 3pm.

Festive menus are being served across our restaurants, with owners and visitors enjoying seasonal lunches and gatherings.

Yesterday, on Remembrance Sunday, Audley Villages came together to honour those who gave their lives in service. Across all our villages, tributes and moments of reflection took place to mark this important day.

At Audley Willicombe Park, owners created a thoughtful and creative tribute, featuring hundreds of hand-knitted poppies, all made, designed and arranged by the owners themselves as a heartfelt way to remember the fallen.

Owners at Audley Stanbridge Earls contributed to a beautiful display on the gates and grounds within the village, with poppies made by the Knit and Knatter group and metal poppies on the Tommy silhouettes crafted by an owner skilled in welding and metal sculpture.

Last week, we officially opened Audley Shiplake Meadows, our beautiful new retirement village just outside Henley-on-Thames. It was wonderful to welcome guests and owners to celebrate this special occasion alongside our CEO, Nick Sanderson and our very special guest, Dame Mary Berry.

Dame Mary Berry commented:
“It was such a joy to be part of Audley Shiplake Meadows’ official opening event. Having called this area home for the past seven years, I know the new homeowners will be very happy here. Whether they're enjoying their beautiful new homes, tending to their allotments, taking a walk in the beautiful countryside, or treating themselves to a day out in Henley-on-Thames, they'll find so much to love. I can already see how Audley Shiplake Meadows will become a wonderful part of the local community, with its beautiful bar and bistro open for everyone to enjoy. I’m looking forward to seeing the village flourish in the years to come.”
