A few weeks ago, chefs from across our villages came together for a collaborative cook-off, a valuable opportunity to trial and refine the dishes that now feature on our Summer Menu.

It’s a chance for each chef to bring their own strengths to the table, while fine-tuning recipes based on feedback gathered through previous owners’ forums and committee tastings.

Most Audley restaurants are open to the public and provide the ideal setting for lunch on the terrace, to mark a special occasion or even host a meeting in elegant surroundings.

Visit your nearest summer fair and enjoy a BBQ, cocktail demonstrations, artisan stalls, games, live music and more. What better way to experience one of our villages than a gentle stroll around the grounds and main house and a browse of the many artisan stalls visiting for the day. Our Ilkley summer fair is tomorrow, followed by Audley Chalfont Dene in Buckinghamshire this Saturday.

Visit between 11am and 3pm at most locations. We hope to see you there.

It’s been a typically British summer at our villages so far, with a mix of sunshine and showers but that hasn’t stopped our Summer Fairs from going ahead as planned.

Owners, guests and visitors have enjoyed a range of events across the villages, including live music, garden tours, artisan stalls and seasonal food.
