FEBRUARY IS A HEART HEATLH MONTH
We tend to think that the heart it the most important organ in our body to keep us alive. And YES, no heartbeat, no life - that is true.
But HOW CAN WE KEEP OUR CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM HEALTHY so that our heart keeps beating nicely for us?
Top tip today: look into the health of your Gut! Yes, even our cardiovascular system is linked to the gut and more and more evidence arises that the bacteria in our gut impact the health of our circulatory system.
One, easy to understand, reason is this Leaky Gut (LG).
Compare your gut wall with a teabag. You do not want holes in the teabag as you do not want bits floating in your cuppa. The teabag filters only the lovely flavours out so you can enjoy your drink. This is what the gut walls are for - they filter the good nutrients out and hinder toxins or food particles to get into the bloodstream. Well, that is how is should be. If you have Leaky Gut, you have 'holes' in your gut wall and toxins and even undigested food particles will be able to enter your blood stream and, once in there, they can get ANYwhere in the body.
Those unwanted bits will find a place to settle and cause mild inflammation. Although the body can cope with that in general, it is the constant underlying mild inflammation herds everywhere in the body that will eventually cause a collapse or at least malfunctioning of various bodily systems. We will experience symptoms of illness like pains, arthritis, diabetes, blocked arteries, high bloodpressure... to name but a few.
Leaky Gut also often means Leaky Brain - the inflammation gets to the brain and can start with symptoms like brainfog, lack of memory or concentration and much more.
Therefore: RESTORE YOUR GUT TO HELP YOUR HEART.
