We had 153 wasted appointments in the last month - people not turning up for their booked appointments. These appointments could have been used for patients who really needed them. Most of our patients call and cancel any booking if they know they wont be able to attend.

A weight-loss service using 'Mounjaro' is being planned by NHS organisations - but please note that further details are still to be confirmed.

Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) is a new medicine that helps people lose weight.

You will see from this information that GP surgeries have been advised this will be live from 23 June 2025 - but at present they have not been informed as to how exactly this will work, who the providers will be, or what the criteria for this will be...

Please help your local services by NOT contacting your practice about this currently - as they do not have any further information as to the process at this time.

However, we will of course share this relevant information with you when it becomes available.
