👀 We had a fantastic time at Elgin Academy Careers Day speaking with the S3-S6 students about the exciting opportunities in Optics and Optometry and showcasing just how rewarding a career in Optics can be. 👓✨
It was inspiring to see so much curiosity and enthusiasm and we hope we've sparked an interest in a few Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants along the way!
Thankyou to all @ Elgin academy and DYW Moray for your very warm welcome. We really enjoyed our time with you.

Hi everyone Sarah here (Optical Assistant/Student Optometrist)

Not being a spectacle wearer myself (until my most recent eye test), I am most familiar with my professional role at LG Eyecare however last week I was solely a mum whose child was a patient at the practice. Our lovely visiting locum Yasmine was professional, patient and kind whilst carrying out my son’s first full eye test.
Dispensing Optician Mark did a great job fitting his glasses and even shortened the sides of his favourite pair to fit him properly.
It was lovely to experience the service we always strive to provide from the other side.

Not to mention how absolutely adorable he looks in his funky new Wolf Eyewear glasses. He’s delighted!

After a super busy week, that’s us all on our Summer hols now! ☀️🎉

It was great pre-holiday week as we celebrated being 6 years in business at LGEyecare on Wednesday!
Thankyou so much for keeping us here doing what we love and for all the yummy goodies and beautiful flowers that we were very kindly given! 🌺🧁

We're taking a wee break! 🌴

The Practice will be closed for annual leave for one week from Monday 21st July until Tuesday 29th July when we'll be back in to Practice from 9am. 👓
Donna, Mark, Liam, Katie, Kathryn and Sarah have been working their socks off lately (thanks to you our amazing customers!), so it's time for a bit of a rest and some relaxation). 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

If you have an eye emergency while we're away, please contact another local Practice and they will triage and provide assistance as required.
For anything urgent that's out of hours, you can call NHS 24 on 111.

👓Welcome back, Sarah 👋🏻

We're absolutely delighted to have Sarah back in the Practice with us over the Summer.
Many of you will remember Sarah as one of our fantastic Optical Assistants - and now she's well on her way to becoming an Optometrist herself! 👀👓✨

Sarah left us last year to begin her studies in Optometry at University, and we're so proud to share that she's successfully completed her first year and is loving the course so far! 👏
She'll be working with us a few days a week throughout the Summer, so if you're in for an appointment or popping by to choose new glasses, be sure to say Hello and catch up!

👓 Heads up from your favourite Eye-Crew 👓

This Wednesday 21st May we'll be trading glasses for notepads as we take a day out for Staff Training. No Eye Tests, No frames, just a whole lot of learning! 📚🗒🖊👓👀

Thanks for your patience while we finely tune our knowledge and skills.

Got a wee surprise earlier in the week on our doorstep from the fabulous in the form of some Lloyd Griffiths Eyecare personalised pencils!

The most stylish man in 32 South Street decided to model them for everyone and even managed to fulfil his lifelong ambition of growing a sweet moustache 🥸🤣
