❓❓❓What is Osteopathy❓❓❓
As professional Osteopaths, we focus on the function of the musculoskeletal system, including all of the body’s joints. We believe in the body’s ability to heal itself and we employ various techniques to promote this self-healing. Our techniques include stretching, manipulation, deep tissue massage, acupuncture, cranial osteopathy, taping and exercise prescription. Our aim is to get our patients back to a full state of health as soon as possible by using the highest quality treatments available!

Introducing Michelle!

Michelle is the other lovely voice you'll hear when calling Moray Osteopaths and is part of our Reception team.

Michelle joined us at Moray Osteopaths in January 2022 and has fitted in so well with the team. She works with Susan in dealing with bookings, answering the three phone lines and dealing with emails for all three practices. Michelle usually works in the Elgin practice on a Thursday and Friday. When she's not in the clinic she enjoys spending time with her son.

Michelle told us what she enjoys about her job:
"The best part about my job is meeting all the patients and being able to assist them any way I can".

Introducing Susan!
Susan is our Practice Manager and one of the lovely voices you can hear when you call the clinic!

Susan started working as an Admin Assistant/Receptionist with Moray Osteopaths in February 2019 and became Practice Manager in November 2021. She works Monday to Wednesday in the Elgin Practice, looking after the diaries of all of our Osteopaths working between Elgin, Forres and Inverness plus keeping the Practice in order and all the Osteopaths organised!

Susan is originally from Elgin and Lhanbryde and she still lives locally now with her two lovely daughters.

Susan gave us a few words about her work:
"I really enjoy my varied role within Moray Osteopaths, no two days are ever the same. I feel privileged to talk to so many lovely patients, both on the phone and face to face, and I love that I can help them arrange appointments for the treatments they require"

Introducing Rachel!

Rachel, who is originally from Dorset, graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 with a Masters in Osteopathy. She worked in Osteopathy Clinics in Dorset and London before moving to Moray in 2014.

Rachel is also fully qualified in Medical Acupuncture and specialises in Cranial Osteopathy, meaning she has a wide range of skills which enables her to tailor her treatments to suit each patient individually. Rachel has also finished her qualification as an Infant Feeding Coach so can support parent's and babies in the early stages of new born life.

She thoroughly enjoys working and living in Moray but still misses the weather in Dorset!

Rachel works in our Elgin, Forres and Inverness clinic's and has slots after work for those working 9-5.
