We enjoyed our Integrative Healthcare in the Community event on Thursday evening here at UHI Moray and what a special evening it was โœจ

It was incredibly inspiring to hear honest and heartfelt stories from our guest speakers sharing how integrative healthcare and complementary therapies have supported their health and wellbeing - and really highlighting its benefits to the community. Special thanks to Rachel sharing her wonderful story of reflexology supporting her journey to motherhood ๐Ÿ’›

We were also joined by past & current students of our BSc (Hons) Integrative Healthcare degree (the only one of its kind in Scotland! ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ) - Morven, Kerry, Karen Jay, and Caroline - who shared their educational journeys, highlighting how even though stepping into higher education can feel daunting, it is possible to study around home life, family and work commitments. Our courses have a blend of face-to-face and online learning, and it was great to see how these all students have been able to exit at different stages of the degree, all with valuable qualifications along the way.

From taster treatments and interactive activities to meaningful conversations and connections, the evening truly reflected the power of integrative healthcare, community and support โœจ Thank you so much to everyone who came along and made the evening so memorable.

Find out more about how complementary therapies like massage, aromatherapy, and reflexology can support health, manage stress, and enhance quality of life. The evening will include inspiring talks, interactive activities, and taster treatments, and youโ€™ll also have the chance to find out more about our courses.

Our Access to Integrative Healthcare & Sports Therapy students were out again in the community, this time visiting the Step by Step support group in Elgin, providing taster massage treatments to new parents ๐Ÿ’›

It was a wonderful afternoon, getting the students hands-on and putting their new skills into practice while supporting members of the local community ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Whether youโ€™re leaving school, returning to study after having a career break, looking for a fresh start, thinking about a career change, the Access to Integrative Healthcare & Sports Therapy (SCQF Level 6) course starts in September 2026 and could be your perfect next step โœจ๐Ÿ‘ฃ
