Flying into Inverness for his appointment at The Oxygen Works, Chris travelled all the way from Chippenham, Wiltshire to see us.

After Cauda Equina and associated surgery back in 2006 left him with foot drop.

This is him today, running once again in the AlterG Anti-Gravity Systems Treadmill. Wearing his new Bioness L300 Go.

This amazing FES unit fires an electrical pulse to his nerve and muscle in the lower leg to lift his foot. Controlled by an inbuilt gyroscope and accelerometer it fires at the correct time in walking, running or even dancing !

Our latest invention - The Flex4ward has made it to the final of Scottish EDGE, a funding competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland's innovative, high growth potential entrepreneurial talent.

On November 27th we pitch to a collective panel of 8 judges and an audience at RBS HQ in Edinburgh for a share of Scottish EDGE’s prize pot of £1.5 million 😱😱

The Flex4ward is a non-invasive fabric exoskeleton for neuro-rehabilitation, to improve mobility and quality of life globally for Stroke, MS, Cerebral Palsy & neurological patients.

As usual we came up with it after a glass of wine … Wish us luck…🤞

Who says rehab cant be fun!

Here’s John, we have been working on his vestibular system, eye tracking and balance using a laser pointer on his head….and we finished today by playing catch with Reggie who is now sound asleep 🤣 A work out for both of them!!

This is the first time that Anne has walked unassisted since her stroke 🎉🎉

We started today’s home visit outside, walking 40m, helping her affected leg step through in gait.

Then it was Anne’s turn to shift her weight (watch those hips 😉) and walk by herself for the last 10m.

We were delighted to work in-clinic with him at The Oxygen Works prior to his incredibly well received Final 😉 Tour.

Our fabulous neuro-physio Rona, was invited as a special guest to Edwyn’s sell-out Glasgow concert, to see him perform his iconic Orange Juice and solo hits.

What a performance and what an inspiration to all stroke survivors ❤️

Almost a year to the day Colin had a major motorcycle accident - which he was lucky to survive.

The crash left him with a spinal cord injury and fractures to his vertebrae, ribs, wrist, knee, tibia, femur and a punctured lung.

After the accident he was advised to prepare for life in a wheelchair as he would not walk again.

Over the last 6 months we’ve worked with Colin on his balance and mobility, from standing, to stepping, to walking. Crutches to walking poles and here he is today …

Trialling our latest invention - The Flex4ward, which helps him flex his hip & knee (prevents hyperextension) and lift his foot in gait. Amazing progress I’m sure you’ll agree - Great job Col 🎉🎉

Here’s Lesley up and walking for the first time since her RTA last year. We’d practiced balancing and standing for several weeks prior and today was the day Lesley walked again 🎉🎉
