Each carefully designed class, taught in a slow & mindful way, is there to help you feel connected to your body, strong, stable, supple, balanced, & to experience a sense of peace Recognising the many benefits yoga was bringing to my own wellbeing, I decided I would like to share the practice with others, studying to become a teacher with the Classical Yoga School (CYS) in 2016. With an avid interest in all things health & wellbeing, I have worked as a Clinical Pharmacist within the NHS for over 15 years, & I am currently studying a Diploma in Ayurveda to become a Ayurvedic Practitioner by the end of 2025. I have taken further studies in Chair Yoga, Moonology & Mythology, and am Level 1 trained in Reiki, Crystal Healing & Angel Healing. I pride myself on creating a friendly, welcoming & supportive space for students to explore yoga. In addition to teaching a sequence of physical postures (asana) in a slow & mindful way, I incorporate gentle breathwork & meditation practices, & I love to share my passions of gratitude, self-love & connection to provide that holistic approach to helping improve our health & wellbeing.

Happy Dhanvantari Trayodashi (Dhanteras)

Today we celebrate God Dhanvantari for sharing the divine knowledge of Ayurveda to the world 🙏

This day was purposefully placed just before the winter season as the rituals prepare you for the season and ward off associated diseases.

What can you practice on this auspicious day?

1. The Dhanvantari mantra is recited
2. The house is thoroughly cleaned, removing all waste and clutter. To encourage good flow of energy around you and welcome peace within you
3. A lamp/candle is lit to mark the sanctity of the house. Light signifies the shadow of ignorance and negativity being over-taken by knowledge and realisation of the self
4. The day is dedicated to being introspective and having gratitude for all that we have been blessed with
5. Participate in a local Dhanvantari puja where Panchamrut is offered to the lord and taken afterwards as prashad for health and vitality.

om namāmi dhanvantarim ādidevaṃ surāsurair vanditapādapadmam
lokair jarārūgbhayamṛtyunāśaṃ dhātāram īśaṃ vividhauṣadhīnām.
dhanvantariṃ ramānāthaṃ sarvaroganivārakam,

Regular weekly classes are paused, however, I will be teaching my monthly Sunday morning yoga class with Phoenix Kettlebells in the Dufftown Community Centre again on Sunday 24th August.

This class is open to both Phoenix Kettlebell club members AND non-members👍 All welcome!

There are spaces if you'd like to join us from 10-11am for an all-level, beginner-friendly yoga flow class, designed to support your mobility, flexibility & core strength✌️

Cost -
✨Phoenix Kettlebell club members = class is included in your membership
✨Non-members = £10

Please bring your own mat!

Hi All,

Hope you're all keeping well & have been enjoying the summer ☺

I wanted to pop out a wee update for you about my yoga class plans after the summer break👍

Due to a change in job circumstance, I will be taking a pause from my regular weekly yoga flow & chair yoga classes in Lossiemouth & Elgin; however, I do plan to review the possibility of a once weekly class in the New Year after having a few months to settle into my new role🙂

I will, however, continue to teach a MONTHLY Sunday morning, all-level flow class, with the Phoenix Kettlebells club at the Dufftown Community Centre - next date Sunday 24th August, 10-11am. There are spaces available & all are welcome - please message me to book a spot if you'd like to join! ✨

Thanks so much to all of you who have supported & attended my classes & workshops here in Moray - it has been very much appreciated! I've enjoyed meeting so many new people, sharing my love of yoga & healing, and all the smiles & laughs we've shared along the way🥰

"Slow Flow" - suitable for all levels I trained with the Classical Yoga School (CYS) - an ashtanga based course providing an in depth study of yoga philosophy, asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. I now teach a slower paced “flow” style of yoga - this is how I practice at home. Connecting with the breath, I will guide you through a sequence of standing / balancing postures, longer held floor-based postures, before finishing with ample time for a well-deserved relaxation. This weekly class offers a supportive environment for you to develop strength, flexibility and balance both on a physical and emotional level. My hope is that you leave feeling rejuvenated, calm, relaxed, and ready to embrace the rest of your week ahead.
