On 11th April 2026, twelve of our staff will be walking the 5 hours from Todmorden to Elland in aid of the Activities Fund. This will support us provide even bigger and better activities and outings for the residents of Norton House Care Home. We are planning to do the Blackpool trip again, and we are hoping to make this even better than last year 🎡

Each staff member completing the walk has their own individual sponsor sheet, and they will all be doing their very best to raise the most from sponsors. If you can’t pick a staff member to sponsor, you can donate via the JustGiving page we have set up 🤍

We will be announcing the total of how much we have raised on the evening of the walk. Thank you in advance for your support ❤️

Yesterday we celebrated the wonderful Denise who has been with us for four years 🤍

Denise started with us as a Night Care Assistant, but chose to move onto days in 2023 to become a Senior Carer 🥰

Denise is such a valued and important member of our team, and we are so lucky to be celebrating this milestone with her ❤️

Not only is our Cole a great care assistant, we’ve also discovered his hidden talent – making homemade flowers out of pipe cleaners! 🌸

There was a bit of a challenge to see who could make the best ones, and it was pretty clear Cole had the winning touch. But instead of keeping them to himself, he spent the day making sure every single lady got her own flower, which put plenty of smiles on faces.

Some of the residents had a go at making their own too… they didn’t quite make the cut, but everyone had a good laugh trying! 💐
