Bankfield Surgery patients – If you’re due your FLU and/or COVID vaccine, it’s not too late. We are holding a walk in clinic this evening at Bankfield Surgery, 6.30pm – 7pm (no appointment needed).

🤧 Got a cough, cold or flu?
Antibiotics won’t help these common infections.
Rest, fluids and paracetamol are usually the best medicine. If you’re unsure - our team, your pharmacist or NHS 111 can help you get the right care safely.

♻️ Got leftover antibiotics at home?
Don’t bin them and don’t flush them.
Please return unused or expired antibiotics to your pharmacy for safe disposal. It protects both your health and the environment.

🩺 Safe access matters
✅Only take antibiotics when they’re prescribed for you by an NHS GP, nurse or pharmacist.
✅Avoid buying antibiotics online, abroad or “under the counter” – they can be unsafe or fake.
✅Children sometimes need antibiotics, but only when they’re really necessary. Too much use now means fewer options in the future.
