Today at Cheshire Springs was a real success.

Most of us take something as simple as going out for granted, but today was incredibly special for Peter. After spending a long stint in hospital, he finally got to go out for the first time in 7 months.

When asked if he was happy, Peter replied, “I’m very happy,” whilst shedding a tear. ❤️

Moments like this remind us how important the little things really are.

💙 Cheshire Springs is proud to be raising funds to support a local family whose little boy, Kole, has been diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome — more commonly known as childhood dementia.

Kole is now 22 months old, and we want to come together as a community to help support him and his family through this incredibly difficult journey.

We will be holding our Annual Summer Fete on 25th July. Proceeds raised will go towards supporting Kole and purchasing additional equipment for our sensory room, which will be used and enjoyed by both our residents and Kole.

We would love your support — whether that’s by attending, donating, or simply sharing this post to help spread awareness of Sanfilippo Syndrome.

Stepped into music history today on the Magical Mystery Beatles tour around Liverpool 🎶✨ Walking the same streets, hearing the stories, and soaking in the legacy was unforgettable, but even more special was sharing it with John and his sister. Days like this remind me that it’s not just about the places you visit, but the memories you create with family along the way ❤️

Today at Cheshire Springs we had the privilege of making a birthday truly special. 🎂✨

Our wonderful service user Claire, who lives with dementia, used to be part of a choir and singing has always been a big part of her life. For her birthday, we organised a choir to come in and perform for her and her family.

It was an incredibly moving experience for everyone involved. The music brought back beautiful memories, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Seeing Claire and her family enjoy such a meaningful moment reminded us just how powerful music and connection can be. 🎶💙
