Life and wellness coaching can benefit men and women of all ages and at different times in their lives for example, a change in a relationship, job, financial situation or a review of where you are in life or setting new goals and aspirations. Life and wellness coaching can help you to develop strategies to challenge negative thoughts and behaviours that can be restrictive, for example, low confidence and self-esteem to behaviours that are obsessive and compulsive.

As we approach Christmas day, I want to say thank you for the support, kindness, and engagement throughout the year at andreapeers.com 🤍

Being part of conversations that normalise mental health and neurodiversity means a lot.

Wishing you a gentle, peaceful Christmas, however it looks for you.

Top tips to stay well at Christmas:

Lower the pressure – it doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful 🎄

Limit comparisons – social media rarely shows the full picture 🎄

Create small moments of calm – even 5 minutes counts 🎄

What a way to finish the year !!

Yesterday I won the Harrington-Wright Cup for Best 60-Second Pitch and I’m still smiling 😊.

Thank you to Julia Forster, from who won it the week before, for passing it on.

I shared the story of John, someone many of us recognise.

John reflects on the year and, despite some successes, his focus goes straight to what didn’t go well.

By January he’s full of good intentions… but by February, motivation drops and self-criticism takes over.

John isn’t unusual.

Around 80% of New Year’s resolutions are given up by February.

Real change happens once a year, it happens day by day, with the right support, focus and clarity.

As a psychologist working with mental health and neurodiversity, I support people like John move away from self-criticism and short-term fixes towards consistent, sustainable change.

If you or you know someone like John who’s quietly struggling, lets have a chat.

How are you feeling this December?

Cost of living worries.

Your first Christmas without someone you love.

Stress and tension at home.

It’s a lot and you don’t have to carry it alone.

In-person support can make a real difference.

It helps reduce overwhelm, build your energy back up, and keep you focused

Look after yourself this Christmas.

World Kindness Day 2025!

One small act of kindness can change someone’s entire day.

Kindness starts with you.

Here are a few simple ways to spread kindness today:

Smile at a stranger.

Send a message of appreciation.

Treat yourself to something small.

Forgive yourself for a mistake.

Take time to rest.

In a world where you can be anything, be kind ❤️

Staff turnover dropped to just 8%, compared to the national average of 34% in one small business that proactively embedded neuroinclusion.

(Birkbeck University research, Prof. McDowall March 2025).

The findings were clear:

Inclusive environments benefit everyone

Regular neurodiversity training is essential

Line managers play a key role in creating psychological safety

Adjustments shouldn’t depend on a formal diagnosis

External support can make inclusion sustainable, even for small teams

This week, I caught up with the lovely Sarah Pearson in her beautiful Boutique salon in the heart of Cheshire.

We hadn’t seen each other since our college days, back when I was the Specialist Mental Health Teacher and Sarah was teaching Beauty.

Sarah's been busy developing her own organic skincare range inspired by nature and treated me to an impromptu facial using her products, leaving me feeling totally rejuvenated.

It's so inspiring to see someone turn their passion into purpose.

I had such a warm welcome at Wirral Met College last night as a guest speaker for HR students.

We explored the impact of change on people’s mental health and how best to support staff who are neurodiverse through transitions.

The group was so engaging and enthusiastic about their subject, it was a real pleasure!

Thank you to Atina Ndindeng MSc.MAPGCE, BA.BSc MCIPD and Amy Jones for the invitation.
