Life and wellness coaching can benefit men and women of all ages and at different times in their lives for example, a change in a relationship, job, financial situation or a review of where you are in life or setting new goals and aspirations. Life and wellness coaching can help you to develop strategies to challenge negative thoughts and behaviours that can be restrictive, for example, low confidence and self-esteem to behaviours that are obsessive and compulsive.

Neurodiversity training doesn’t need to mean sitting still and staring at slides.

In this session, people are moving, laughing and learning.

Why? Because our brains learn best when the body is involved.

Games 🎲

Real-time insight into attention, overload & processing 🧠

A shared experience that builds empathy fast 🤝

When people feel the difference, neurodiversity stops being a concept and starts being understood.

Last Wednesday I had such a warm welcome from where I delivered an interactive neurodiversity training session focused on understanding and celebrating difference.

This definitely wasn’t a “sit and listen” session.

We played Difference Bingo, explored how masking feels through movement, and created space for curiosity, reflection, and connection.

Learning about neurodiversity can be engaging, practical, and human and when teams feel the learning, it really sticks.

If this sounds like a fun and meaningful way to raise awareness and energise your team, I’d love to chat.

This is the first year I am on the committee for Cheshire Woman Award and I couldn't be prouder to support a fantastic award.

The Cheshire Woman Awards celebrate ordinary women doing extraordinary things across the historic Cheshire area, including the Wirral.

The awards honour women who have demonstrated outstanding qualities in three key categories:

Personal Courage

Contribution to Community

Outstanding Professional Achievement

Nominations are open to any woman who lives, works, or was born in Cheshire (within the old county boundaries) or Wirral, so that means women from Birkenhead and beyond are warmly welcomed.

If you know someone whose bravery, community spirit, or professional excellence deserves recognition, perhaps a neighbour, friend, colleague, or family member, now is the time to nominate her!

Nominations close 31 January 2026.

✨👑 It's time to choose the Cheshire Woman of 2026. Who is your heroine?

Happy New Year 🥳

As we say goodbye to one year and welcome the next, sometimes all we really need is a hug.

Not big promises or loud celebrations, just warmth, comfort, and a moment to breathe. Ending the year with love makes the new one feel less heavy already.

Dogs remind us how simple kindness can be. Their loyalty, affection, and calm presence support our mental health and emotional well being every day. Pet companionship brings peace, reduces stress, and turns hard moments into softer ones, especially during times of change.

Here’s to a new year that arrives gently. May it bring healing, safety, and quieter joy into our lives. Hold your loved ones close, cherish your pets, and step forward with hope and gratitude.

As we approach Christmas day, I want to say thank you for the support, kindness, and engagement throughout the year at andreapeers.com 🤍

Being part of conversations that normalise mental health and neurodiversity means a lot.

Wishing you a gentle, peaceful Christmas, however it looks for you.

Top tips to stay well at Christmas:

Lower the pressure – it doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful 🎄

Limit comparisons – social media rarely shows the full picture 🎄

Create small moments of calm – even 5 minutes counts 🎄

What a way to finish the year !!

Yesterday I won the Harrington-Wright Cup for Best 60-Second Pitch and I’m still smiling 😊.

Thank you to Julia Forster, from who won it the week before, for passing it on.

I shared the story of John, someone many of us recognise.

John reflects on the year and, despite some successes, his focus goes straight to what didn’t go well.

By January he’s full of good intentions… but by February, motivation drops and self-criticism takes over.

John isn’t unusual.

Around 80% of New Year’s resolutions are given up by February.

Real change happens once a year, it happens day by day, with the right support, focus and clarity.

As a psychologist working with mental health and neurodiversity, I support people like John move away from self-criticism and short-term fixes towards consistent, sustainable change.

If you or you know someone like John who’s quietly struggling, lets have a chat.
