Cleaning the doorway of the office was not on my to do list this morning 🤬 this is becoming a regular occurrence of people thinking it’s ok to urinate in the doorway. Just a gentle reminder that there is a camera on this doorway which is recording at all times 🤭
We have enough work to get on with in a day without cleaning up your mess 😊

This week in National Safeguarding Adults Week. Our training provider has put on training for the week with a different safeguarding theme each day to help us update our knowledge and skills.

Today we have learnt about Professioal Boundaries and how to ensure we do not over step our boundaries within our role.

It is important to have professional boundaries in place to promote safe practice, keeping ourselves and the people we support safe and protected from physical and emotional harm. It helps to provide any confusion over the professional relationship ensuring we are both aware of our role, responsibility and limitations.

Our job role, our policies and procedures and the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers in England set out the guidelines to ensure professional boundaries are met.
