What a brilliant afternoon we had thanks to the wonderful Cate Macpherson, who joined us for an uplifting session of singing, music and dancing here at Auchtercrag Care Home 💛✨

Cate’s energy and beautiful voice had everyone tapping their toes, clapping along and even getting up for a wee dance. The room was filled with smiles, laughter and such a lovely atmosphere 🎶

A huge thank you to Cate for bringing so much joy to our residents — we’re already looking forward to your next visit! 🌼💛

🍪💛 Biscuit Making & Memories at Auchtercrag 💛🍪

There’s nothing better than a spot of biscuit making to brighten the afternoon — especially when it comes with a lovely chat about old family recipes and treasured traditions 🌼✨

Our residents enjoyed mixing, shaping and sharing stories about the bakes they used to make at home, from favourite treats to recipes passed down through generations. The kitchen was filled with warm memories, delicious smells and plenty of smiles 💕

Auchtercrag would like to say a huge thank you to Tesco Ellon for their generous donation of fresh apples — such a thoughtful gesture that means so much to everyone here 🌼✨

Our wonderful Anna is already excited to get creative in the kitchen. She can’t wait to whip up apple fritters and many more delicious apple puddings for our residents to enjoy 🍏🥧😄

It’s always lovely to see our community supporting one another, and we’re so grateful for the kindness shown to our home.

Our residents enjoyed a beautifully relaxing and creative session today as they spent time arranging and exploring a lovely selection of flowers 💐✨

There were wonderful colours, calming scents and plenty of smiles as everyone got hands‑on, creating their own floral displays and sharing stories about their favourite blooms. A huge well done to two of our wonderful colleagues who have achieved fantastic milestones in their professional development 💛✨

Our Deputy Manager Samoy has successfully completed the Good to Great Leadership and Management Programme, and Senior Carer Rhianna has completed The Senior Care Worker Programme.
