At Auchtercrag Care Home, we embraced this year’s Arts in Care Homes Day with a creative and eco-friendly theme — green! 🌍✨

Our residents and colleagues came together to explore sustainable art, using recycled materials to craft beautiful pieces that celebrate nature and community. It was a lovely way to connect, create, and care for our environment at the same time 🌱💐

We had a fantastic time in our Auchmacoy Lodge dining room this week, sampling the delights of our brand-new menu! Residents and colleagues alike enjoyed trying out the delicious new dishes, sharing their favourites, and making mealtimes extra special together. 🥗🍰

We had a fantastic time with the brilliant Roy Rhodes, who came in to treat us to some toe-tapping country music! 🎤🎸

Our residents loved the performance — singing along, clapping to the beat, and enjoying every moment of the uplifting atmosphere 💛

🌾🎨 Scarecrow Building Fun at Auchtercrag Care Home! 🎨🌾

We had a fantastic visit from the nursery children of Ellon Primary School, who joined our residents for a creative morning of scarecrow building!

Together, we designed and built our very own scarecrow — and had a great time deciding what kind of face it should have… happy, funny or even a little bit scary! 👻

It was a joyful and imaginative activity that brought generations together through teamwork, laughter and creativity 💛

A huge thank you to our lovely visitors and colleagues who helped make the day so special!
