Grampian Care Skills provide cost effective workplace or classroom based training courses to the public and private sectors throughout the Grampian Region. Our trainers are all registered nurses with extensive current practice delivering quality first aid training to individuals and groups. Our First Aid courses are accredited by Nuco in association First Aid Awards Ltd ( SQA awarded body)
We can

also offer non accredited courses to meet your specific requirements
Why not come and learn new skills with your club, organisation or family and friends in an informal, relaxed atmosphere

Come learn some new skills or refresh knowledge on the following :

Baby and child CPR

Choking management for baby and child

Recovery Position

Bleeding , bandaging and shock

Burns

Anaphylaxis o how to use an EpiPen

Febrile seizures

These are small, friendly sessions with max 8 per 3 hour session

Venues to be confirmed soon but small village halls within your areas so suggestions welcome

Bring family members

Open to anyone who works with children too as excellent awareness session

Certificate of attendance issued

Run by a fully qualified First Aid trainer and registered nurse

Please get in touch for more info. Babies welcome but you may benefit more if you can dedicate the time without distraction to maximise your session and for others

Planning to deliver some Paediatric First Aid classes for Parents/ Carers/Grandparents and anyone who would love to learn these skills
I am a fully registered First Aid Trainer
Small friendly and inexpensive class offering you the opportunity to learn and practice CPR, choking management , recovery position , wounds, bleeding and shock, burns etc for baby and child in a small and friendly class
Meet other parents/ carers , learn key lifesaving skills and build your confidence
Let me know what areas you would like to see training.
Just need a small hall or community centre to hire
This will be a Sat afternoon most likely or an occasional weekday
Only 8 per group to allow time to practice
3 -3.5 hours approx
Price on application.
