‼️ Important update on free NHS prescriptions ‼️ (income-based exemptions):

There have been changes to who qualifies for free prescriptions on income grounds. Simply receiving Income Support or Jobseeker’s Allowance is no longer enough on its own.

To qualify now, you must:

* Meet the Universal Credit criteria for help with health costs, based on your latest assessment
OR
* Have a valid exemption, such as an HC2 low income certificate

Prescription checks are now automated by the NHS, so incorrect claims may be flagged.

If you’re unsure, check your eligibility online or contact the Universal Credit helpline: 0800 328 5644

• Order repeat prescriptions
• Choose your pharmacy
• View your GP record
