💜February is RP Awareness Month 💜

Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) is a rare inherited eye condition that affects the retina — the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye. It usually develops gradually, often starting with difficulty seeing in low light or at night, followed by a reduction in peripheral (side) vision.

Around 1 in 4,000 people in the UK are affected by RP. While there is currently no cure, regular eye examinations are essential to monitor eye health, manage symptoms, and ensure people receive the right advice, support, and referrals when needed.

This RP Awareness Month, we’re helping to raise awareness of inherited retinal conditions and reminding everyone that eye tests are about much more than just updating a prescription — they play a vital role in long-term eye health.

If you’ve noticed changes in your vision or have a family history of eye conditions, our team is always here to offer guidance and support. 👁️💜

“Love at First Sight?”

❤️ Love at first sight… or was it the glasses? 👓

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating the frames that made you feel confident, bold, stylish — or completely yourself.

Because sometimes it’s not just about seeing clearly… it’s about being seen.

✨ The pair that changed your look
✨ The colour you never thought you’d wear
✨ The frames that get all the compliments

Tell us — was it love at first sight with your current glasses?

💙 February is AMD Awareness Month 💙

Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is one of the leading causes of vision loss in the UK — and early detection really matters.

The macula is responsible for your central vision, helping you read, recognise faces, and see fine detail. AMD often develops gradually, which means regular eye examinations are key to spotting changes early and protecting your sight for the future.

If you’ve noticed any changes in your vision, have a family history of AMD, or simply haven’t had an eye test in a while, now is a great time to book in. We’re always here to offer expert care, honest advice, and personalised support 💙

Glow up? We think so ✨

A decade ago this was our space — and while the frames, tech and interiors have evolved, our commitment to independent eye care hasn’t.
