Lipoedema (lip-o-deemah) is a chronic condition with no cure. It manifests by unevenly distributing fatty tissues most commonly on the legs, but can affect the arms, too. It can cause disproportionate body shapes that can make a person look overweight, when they are not, alongside leg pain and sore skin, sometimes with overhanging skin folds, as you can imagine this not only affects people physically, but can also have tremendous impact on their mental health, too.
