🌱 Gardening season is back… and so are the injuries.

Every year I see people spend a full day in the garden, then struggle to move the next day.

The problem?
It doesn’t feel like a workout… but it absolutely is.

All the bending, lifting and twisting adds up quickly — especially if your body isn’t used to it.

A few small changes can make a big difference:

✔️ Watch your lifting
✔️ Don’t try to do everything in one go

Nagging back pain and unsure if you need a scan?

It’s a common question I hear almost daily.

In many cases, scans aren’t the first step — especially if symptoms are stable and there’s no significant trauma or red flags.

They can be useful in certain situations, but they don’t always change the way a problem is managed.

A thorough assessment often provides more value early on — helping to understand what’s driving the pain and how to manage it effectively.

Sometimes it’s the body limiting movement to protect a joint that doesn’t feel strong, stable, or prepared for load.

Building strength, control, and load tolerance is usually the missing piece
