Nothing says get your butt moving like New Year!

If you’re sat down now, hop up and do this super quick flow. Stretches you out and wakes up your legs.

A nice trick is to use a sideboard, table or chair nearby to lean on.

Apologies, this is not a perfect video at all, but I subscribe to the ‘one and done’ method and my dinner’s ready! 😉😂

Chair yoga workshop - Friday 28th @ 10:30-11:45

Do you want to feel more comfortable, move better and feel more relaxed? This Chair yoga workshop is open to all!

Discovering ways to feel good in our bodies, get stronger and feel calmer and more relaxed. I will guide you through safe movements, poses and breathing exercises and - using the chair for support - you are able to go at your own pace and comfort.

Our workshop will have set up time to settle in and ask questions. A warm, friendly atmosphere in a lovely studio at Emsworth Community Centre. Everyone welcome!

New Moon - New Term!

I’ve been enjoying a lovely back to a full set of classes and sessions again.

Did you see the Blood Moon and partial eclipse on Sunday evening? Perfectly timed for our Monday classes…we focused on calming and steadying, letting go of things that are holding us back and embracing a fresh start. Making our ‘sankalpas’, or intentions for our own practice. A theme we will be holding all of this week…deep rest and relaxation 💜

Summer sessions!

Two outdoor sessions in August in the beautiful Friends Garden. An hour of breezy, sunshiney yoga with a long relaxation and time afterwards to chill, have a drink and chat.

A suggested price of £10, but I’d like to offer a pay what you can too, to be able to offer it to all. Please pm with any questions 💜

Yin and Yang yoga workshops ☯️

Join me and keep moving and balanced over Easter! Two lovely workshops, both at the lovely Meeting Place in Westbourne.

In each workshop, the first hour will be Yang flows, gradually layering and building sequences with rhythm and breath. This works the Yang tissues of the body, primarily muscles, increasing blood flow and strengthening and heating our bodies.
Break for a cuppa ☕️💜
Then the second hour, a floor based Yin practice. Longer held, more passive poses, creating space and easing our spines, hips and legs. Our Yin tissues of the body are around our joints, connective tissue. A yin practice calms our nervous system and is balancing for our lives, which can be quite Yang in nature.
Post-yoga there will be time for tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit and time to catch-up.
