One of the questions I'm asked most often is:

"When should I book a massage?"

My answer is usually before your body starts shouting at you! 😆

Many of the women I work with wait until they're stressed, exhausted, aching, struggling to sleep, carrying tension in their neck and shoulders, or feeling completely overwhelmed before they give themselves permission to book.

Massage isn't just a treat. It can be a valuable part of looking after your physical and mental wellbeing.

“I’m just not hungry anymore…”

This is something many people taking GLP-1 medications say — and while reduced appetite can help with weight loss, it can also create problems if women aren’t properly supported.

In menopause especially, under-eating can lead to:
⚡ Fatigue
⚡ Poor recovery
⚡ Nutrient deficiencies
⚡ Muscle loss
⚡ Increased weakness over time

This is why support matters.

As a Women’s Wellness Coach and Personal Trainer, I help women understand HOW to nourish their body while losing weight — not just eat as little as possible.

“I just don’t feel comfortable in my body anymore.”

When sleep is poor, stress is high, muscles ache and energy dips, it can feel hard to reconnect with yourself.

⚠️ One thing we really need to talk about with GLP-1 weight loss drugs in menopause… Muscle loss

Many women are finally seeing the scales move — but if you’re not strength training and eating enough protein, some of that weight loss may be muscle.

And during menopause, we’re already naturally losing muscle mass due to hormonal changes.

Less muscle can mean:
❌ Lower metabolism
❌ More fatigue
❌ Reduced strength
❌ Poorer balance and mobility
❌ Increased injury risk

This is why “eat less and do more cardio” is NOT the answer for midlife women.

Strength training during menopause is essential — whether you’re taking GLP-1 medication or not.

My role is to help women:
✨ Build strength safely
✨ Fuel their body properly
✨ Protect muscle and bone health
✨ Create habits that actually last

Because long-term health matters far more than a quick fix.

When I visit care homes each month, the movement is only part of what happens.

Residents chat. They laugh. They encourage each other. They reconnect.
