We’re in for some scorching days ahead, with temps set to reach 30 °C and beyond! While we all love a bit of sunshine, it’s important to look after ourselves (and each other!) in the heat.

Here are a few top tips that'll actually help:
✅ Drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty
🧴 Apply SPF 30 or higher, and remember to reapply throughout the day
🧢 Wear a hat & light clothing to keep cool
🏡 Stay in the shade or indoors during peak sun hours (11 AM – 3 PM)
💦 Keep an eye on vulnerable loved ones - elderly relatives, young children, and pets need extra care

Before you head out to enjoy the sunshine this weekend, make sure your skin is protected. A few minutes of prevention can save you from days of redness, discomfort, or worse.

Here’s what we recommend:

✅ SPF 30 or higher - apply generously & reapply every 2 hours
🧴 Use broad-spectrum sunscreen on all exposed skin (yes, even ears & tops of feet!)
👒 Wear hats & light layers
