WE DID THIS! πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½
Today 25th of August 2020, Africa will be declared Polio Free because Nigeria has sustained its polio free status. For many years, Christ Ambassadors; our Trustees, our team of volunteers and YOU our supporters partnered with WHO, UNICEF & Nigeria’s National Primary Health Care Development Agency in Abuja. We ran our Run for Polio Initiative for many years travelling back and forth to Nigeria and working with local charities; giving much needed aid to increase the uptake of polio vaccine and working with the children and their families affected by polio.
Many thanks to the National Primary Health Care Development Agency in Abuja, Rotary, MANSAG and many more UK organisations for partnering with us so that we could do much good on groundπŸ’ͺ
W are immensely proud to be able to make this announcement today & we continue to pray that Nigeria remains free of this entirely preventable disease.
At Christ Ambassadors we continue to need your support; keep tuned for upcoming initiatives as we take on our next challenge!

Rumours and misinformation about the vaccine slowed down immunisation efforts.

Happy Friday,

Join us tonight at 7pm as we continue our Love in Relationships series with a new topic; Me & Jesus.

Whether you are seasoned believer, a new Christian or just curious, join us every Friday to explore why we believe a relationship with Jesus Christ is the greatest relationship you will ever have.

Fall in love with Jesus afresh as we learn more about who He is, why He came and why it matters what you believe, say and do with Him.

Check out what we did for children affected by physical and learning disabilities in Nigeria, this June at our event

1st ever 5K Run for Polio event at Millennium Park, Abuja, Nigeria with 200 people. Participants in the run included Medical Doctors, Youth Corpers, Children who are orphans and affected by polio and other disabilities.

Some of the children suffered from learning difficulties, physical disabilities and other impairments. Others were able bodied but had gone through mental distress, abuse and abandonment.

Those who could took to our route and walked. They walked, jogged and ran in the place of their mates who could not. In turn those with physical disabilities cheered on their friends.

While they walked, we set up entertainment and games for those who were waiting; check out our other albums for more details.
