p grieving parents and siblings navigate their journey of loss. At ARC, we understand that grief is an ongoing process, and no family should have to endure it alone. We provide early intervention therapy, home assistance, group support, community events, and wellness programs to ensure that families receive the emotional, practical, and financial aid they need during this difficult time. Our work is deeply personal, as we self-fund our initiatives to make sure no family is left without support. Despite the challenges, our impact has not gone unnoticed, and we are proud to be recognized as the Community Group of the Year at the prestigious Empowerment Awards. This recognition is not just a title—it is a testament to the strength of the families we support, the dedication of our team, and the generosity of our community. We remain committed to breaking the silence around grief, fostering resilience, and creating lasting change for those who need it most.

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming Coffee Morning, where we come together as a community to support one another and raise awareness for Child Loss.

Grief can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to face it alone. This event is all about connection, compassion, and learning what support is available.

Therapists and local groups will be there to share what they offer and how they can help, whether you're looking for guidance, a listening ear, or just a chance to connect with others who understand.

Let’s start the conversation, build community, and shine a light on the importance of support through loss. Together, we can make a difference.

We’d love to see you there—come for a coffee, stay for the connection.

We are incredibly honoured to share that ARC CIC has been nominated for a Make a Difference Award by the BBC. 🌟

This nomination means the world to us—not just as recognition of our work, but as a tribute to every family we’ve walked alongside through unimaginable pain. ARC was born from love, loss, and the belief that no one should have to face grief alone. To see our mission acknowledged in this way fills our hearts with gratitude.

To our community, our supporters, and the families who have trusted us with their stories—thank you. You are the reason we keep going. This nomination is for you. 💛

Hey all,

Losing a child is an unimaginable heartbreak, a grief that no parent should ever have to endure. For many mothers, the anguish doesn’t end when the funeral rites are completed; the weight of loss follows them every day, even as they continue to care for their families. One mother’s journey throu...

Mondays have always held a reputation for being tough, a collective return to structure and responsibility after the relative freedom of the weekend. But for those experiencing grief, Mondays can carry a particular weight that goes beyond the typical dread of the start of the workweek.

Grief has a way of distorting time. The passage of days feels both agonizingly slow and bewilderingly fast. Mondays also mark a new beginning—a reset. For some, this can feel hopeful, but for those grieving, it can feel like a painful reminder that life is moving forward without the Child/person you’ve lost.
Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and it doesn’t adhere to a Monday-through-Friday structure. But incorporating small acts of self-care and mindfulness into the day can help.

If you’re grieving on a Monday, know that it’s okay to struggle. It’s okay to feel out of sync with the world around you. Remember that healing isn’t linear, and it’s not about erasing the pain but learning to carry it with grace.
