🥞 Pancake Afternoon at Elsyng House! 🥞

Today our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful pancake-making session with our Head Chef Daniel! From mixing the batter together to choosing their favourite fillings, everyone had a fantastic time.

The most popular choice of the day? Lemon & sugar! 🍋✨
But we also had plenty of smiles over strawberries, chocolate and other delicious toppings.

A big thank you to Chef Daniel and our amazing team for creating such a fun, hands-on experience. The laughter, the aromas, and the happy faces say it all! 💕

Lovely atmosphere on our Memory Floor today as Edmund sang for our residents. The room was full of music, laughter and happy voices joining in. 🎵✨ Everyone truly enjoyed the afternoon.

Yesterday at Elsyng House we celebrated World Kindness Day with sweet treats, smiling faces and lots of shared kindness. Our residents and team enjoyed a lovely afternoon spreading positivity, gratitude and little acts of kindness. Thank you to everyone who joined in and made the day so special!

This morning at Elsyng House, our talented Maria led a wonderful arts and crafts session with our residents. Together, they painted beautiful poppies and created a heartfelt wreath dedicated to Donald, our much-loved veteran. ❤️🌺

A truly meaningful morning filled with creativity, remembrance, and gratitude.

This afternoon, our Head Chef Dan spent some lovely time baking homemade biscuits together with our residents 🍪💛
Everyone enjoyed getting hands-on — mixing, rolling, and cutting the dough — and of course, tasting the delicious results just in time for supper!

Today our dear veteran Donald laid a wreath at the Memorial together with Linda and Norma, honouring all those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
After the ceremony, they enjoyed a lovely lunch at Toby Carvery, followed by an afternoon reading the wonderful thank-you letters made by Year 6 pupils from our local primary school. 💌

This morning our beloved veteran Donald proudly attended the Remembrance Service in Enfield Town, where he laid a wreath in honour of his fallen comrades — “Never to be forgotten.”

In the afternoon, we gathered for a heartfelt Remembrance Afternoon Tea, sharing gratitude, stories, and love for Donald and all who served. 💖
