🌸🧩 A Lovely Day of Activities – Morning & Afternoon 🧩🌸
This morning, our residents enjoyed a relaxing flower arranging session, choosing colourful blooms and creating beautiful arrangements. It was a wonderful activity that encouraged creativity, conversation, and brought back lovely memories 🌼💐
In the afternoon, we spent time on the Memory Floor with puzzles, where residents showed great focus and teamwork. Everyone really enjoyed taking part, sharing smiles, and celebrating each piece completed together 🧠💙

Today was all about personalised one-to-one wellbeing, ensuring every resident could enjoy meaningful moments in the comfort and safety of their own room.
This morning, our much-loved therapy dog Milo made gentle room-to-room visits, offering calm companionship, cuddles, and plenty of smiles. These quiet interactions brought reassurance, comfort, and emotional warmth to our residents, creating truly special moments of connection. 🐾
In the afternoon, Edmund continued the magic with beautiful one-to-one music sessions, singing personally to residents in their rooms. His music sparked memories, lifted spirits, and created peaceful, heartfelt moments tailored to each individual. 🎶
These personalised experiences are so important for emotional wellbeing, comfort, and dignity. Small moments like these make a big difference, helping our residents feel valued, relaxed, and truly cared for. 💕

Celebrating the King of Rock ’n’ Roll 🎸❤️
Today we celebrated Elvis Presley in true Elvis style!
We enjoyed reading fun facts, watching a documentary, taking part in an Elvis quiz with prizes, dressing up like the King, and of course singing along to his iconic songs 🎤🕺
So many smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories made together — a fantastic day full of music, nostalgia, and joy.

Ben delivered an amazing show today, full of wonderful energy and a truly brilliant voice. From the very first song, the room was filled with smiles, singing along, and so much joy. 💃🕺
Our residents absolutely loved it — clapping, dancing, and enjoying every moment of the performance. Thank you, Ben, for bringing such happiness and creating a special atmosphere for everyone. 🎶❤️

Today our residents were delighted to welcome some beautiful feathered visitors, enjoying close-up moments, gentle interactions and lots of smiles. These special visits bring so much joy, spark memories and create meaningful connections with nature. 💕
With the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch coming up, this felt like the perfect reminder of how important birds are to our wellbeing and environment. 🌿

🎄✨ Spreading Christmas Joy at Elsyng House ✨🎄
The true magic of Christmas is found in the simple moments of kindness, connection, and shared smiles.
This festive season, Alina, our Home Manager, together with Kasper, our Maintenance Manager, had the pleasure of spreading joy throughout the home by personally delivering Christmas presents to our wonderful residents.
Seeing the smiles, laughter, and emotional reactions as each gift was received reminded us all just how special these moments are. For our residents, it wasn’t just about the presents, but about feeling remembered, valued, and surrounded by care and warmth during this magical time of year.
Moments like these truly reflect the heart of Elsyng House – a place where compassion, togetherness, and community are at the centre of everything we do. We are so grateful to have such a dedicated team who go above and beyond to ensure our residents feel loved, supported, and celebrated every single day.

What a wonderful festive day! 🎄
This morning, Clayton brought so much energy with his singing and dancing, filling the room with smiles, laughter, and Christmas spirit. Our residents absolutely loved joining in and enjoying the music.
In the afternoon, the magic continued with a very special visit from Santa and Mrs Claus, spreading joy, festive cheer, and creating truly heart-warming moments for our residents. 🎅🤶✨
