🌸✨ A Truly Heartfelt 5th Anniversary Celebration at Elsyng House ✨🌸
We were deeply honoured to welcome the Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Margaret Greer, who joined us to celebrate our 5th Anniversary at Elsyng House.
The Mayor shared a touching speech recognising the dedication of our team and the strong community spirit within our home. Then came a moment none of us will ever forget — when she sang “Lean on Me.” 🎶💛
As the lyrics filled the room, residents, families and staff sang along… and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Everyone became emotional. It was a powerful reminder of what Elsyng House truly represents — support, friendship, love and always being there for one another.
As we marked our 5th Anniversary at Elsyng House, we were incredibly proud to present our 5-Year Long Service Awards to two very special members of our family — Geraldine and Angela. 💐 Moments like this are why we call Elsyng House a family.
Five years of compassion, commitment and care — and we are so proud of the journey we have shared with our residents and families.
Thank you to the Mayor, our incredible team, and everyone who celebrated with us. 💕

A Lovely Lunch Outing for Demetra & Donald 🍽️

Today we took Demetra and Donald out for a special lunch at Whitewebbs House Toby Carvery
They savoured tender roast meats, crispy potatoes, seasonal vegetables and rich gravy, all while enjoying each other’s company 🥂
Outings like these are so important — keeping our residents connected to the community, creating joyful memories, and making every moment meaningful ❤️

🌟 A Joyful Day at Elsyng House! 🌟
What a wonderful day we had with our residents!
💃 In the morning, we enjoyed an energising Zumba session with our lovely Jackie. Smiles, laughter, arm movements, and lots of rhythm filled the room as everyone joined in – whether standing or seated, every movement counted!
🎹 In the afternoon, we gathered for Happy Hour, enjoying refreshing drinks while our talented resident Dolly played the keyboard beautifully. The music created such a warm and uplifting atmosphere – a true reminder that talent and passion shine at every age.
Moments like these bring us together as one big family ❤️
Keeping active, celebrating talents, and creating memories – that’s what life at Elsyng House is all about.

🌸 Flower Arranging & A Lovely Trip to Ferny Hill Tea Room ☕
What a beautiful day at Elsyng House! Our residents enjoyed a wonderful morning of flower arranging, creating stunning bouquets filled with soft pinks, fresh whites and vibrant spring colours. The room was full of creativity, laughter and teamwork – and just look at those gorgeous arrangements! 💐✨
In the afternoon, we headed out for a delightful trip to Ferny Hill Tea Room. There’s nothing better than enjoying a slice of cake and a perfectly made coffee with friends. The smiles say it all! ☕🍰

🐉🥞 Chinese New Year & Pancake Day Celebrations at Elsyng House 🥞🐉
What a wonderful day of culture, music and delicious treats at Elsyng House!
Our residents enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year in the Dove Lounge, beautifully decorated with traditional red lanterns and festive banners. We were treated to a fantastic live performance, with singing, dancing and plenty of smiles all around. The atmosphere was full of joy and energy – it was truly heartwarming to see everyone joining in. ❤️
Meanwhile, in the Bistro, we celebrated Pancake Day in the sweetest way possible! Fresh pancakes were made on the spot and served warm with strawberries and delicious toppings. The smell alone brought everyone in! 🍓✨
Days like these remind us how important it is to celebrate different traditions, create meaningful experiences and make special memories together.

A Day of Memories & Sweet Moments at Elsyng House 💍🍓
This morning, our residents enjoyed a heart-warming reminiscence session, sharing their wedding photographs and beautiful love stories. It was so special to see the smiles, hear the laughter, and relive those precious memories together. 💕

In the afternoon, the fun continued in the kitchen as we made delicious tiramisu together! Our residents helped layer the sponge, cream, and strawberries to create a lovely dessert — which was proudly served for supper. 🍰✨
A perfect day filled with love, memories, teamwork, and of course… something sweet to finish!

💖 Creative Hearts & Beautiful Moments at Elsyng House 💖
Love was definitely in the air this week as our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful arts & crafts session creating their own heart decorations and floral wreaths.
From painting and decorating sparkling hearts to carefully arranging flowers and ribbons, everyone put their own special touch into their creations – and the results were simply stunning! 🌸✨
It was so lovely to see the smiles, the concentration, and the pride as each piece came to life.
Activities like this are not only creative and fun, but also support wellbeing, fine motor skills and meaningful social interaction.
Well done everyone – your hearts are as beautiful as you are! 💕

💕 Valentine’s Day at Elsyng House 💕
Love was truly in the air today at Elsyng House! ❤️
We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Ben White, who came to sing for our residents and filled the room with music, laughter and romance. The ladies absolutely loved him – there was singing, clapping and even some dancing! 💃🎤
Our lounge looked stunning with red and pink balloons, heart decorations and our beautiful “LOVE” display. Residents enjoyed delicious chocolate-covered strawberries, sweet treats and a celebratory glass of prosecco to make the afternoon extra special. 🍓🍫🥂
Moments like these remind us how important music, connection and celebration are for wellbeing.
Thank you, Ben, for bringing so much joy and energy to our home.

🍕 International Pizza Day 🍕
Our residents at Elsyng House had a wonderful time celebrating International Pizza Day by making their very own delicious pizzas!
From spreading the sauce to choosing their favourite toppings, everyone enjoyed getting creative and personalising their pizzas just the way they like them.
The room was full of smiles, laughter, and the lovely smell of fresh pizza — all ready to be enjoyed for supper. A fun, tasty activity and a lovely moment of togetherness 💛
