Pregnancy Massage at Heartfelt Hands Therapies CIC

At Heartfelt Hands Therapies CIC, we work as a social enterprise because we believe that health and wellbeing should never be treated as profit-making ventures, but as essential parts of being human. Every treatment is offered with care, integrity, and a deep respect for the body.

I’m Ruth, the founder, and I’ve been studying Oriental Medicine since 2004. Over the years I discovered that I could only be truly effective for my clients when I brought the somatic understanding of Movement Shiatsu into my work. This approach taught me to listen closely to the body, to follow its cues, and to adapt to the client’s needs rather than impose a technique.

In pregnancy massage, this creates a very different experience. The touch is slow, grounding, and deeply present. I use breath and awareness to help you return to your body, feel supported, and release the physical and emotional tension that pregnancy often carries. This sensory, embodied way of working is what makes our treatments unique and genuinely effective.
